I second the whole cartoon thing. It looks really nice for that style. I think you should have carried it through the whole image, though, making the background in solids, too.

It's Cassidy. She doesn't pop up much but I love her.

Her arms are totally wack, but everything else is pretty darn accurate. You wouldn't be able to see her knees sticking out like that, though.

This is my first draw since like 3 years.
It kills me to draw with my mouse but i havent buy a Wacom yet, so i'll try my best with the mouse for now! LOL

So a very cheap and high quality tablet is the Wacom Bamboo; I highly suggest it. That's what I have and I've had extreme success. I've gotten mine under 100 dollars, so yeah take a look into it. As far as this goes, It's pretty cute and happy. I really enjoy the collar for some reason, and her hair! :]

The eyebrows are adorable and fine, they remind me of when people tweak their eyebrows and take a little too much off so that the shaping looks unnatural

Pretty colors ^^ Sharpen things up, though. And go around the iris with a little black.

Nice job using the whole canvas instead of just leaving us hanging with a floating eye lol. Its pretty. She looks sad...or solemn about something. Its gripping, like shes making eye contact to express her emotions.

but the way the blurriness is, it looks good. can't make out the nose that well, but the blush blends nicely with the skin and accentuates the cheekbones.

Look, he's brougth his mama flowers. &hearts;

This is my new baby. He's a horse beast (so what? I haven't named his species yet! xP) named Garbhán. :]

I realize his anatomy is wonky, and some of that is accidental, but some is on purpose. His broken-looking back, for example, is on purpose, as well as his elbow-like knees. He looks starved but I promis you he isn't; it's just his breed.

This... is going to take much longer than I thought to finish. Here's the sketch, inking soon and who knows how long it'll take me to color it. xP

But don't you like him? :'D

Oh! Any suggestions?

Well.. since Gar is relaxed maybe make his wings relaxed? It would save you space, but whatever works for you. And idk, you don't really have to squish everything in there, its ok to have some parts out of view.

The legs look so dorky sticking up likethat. its cute!
